Description of 1938 Chevrolet Other

Up for sale is a nice 1938 Chevy Coupe for rod or to restore. This is an overall original car that has not been cut up. This car has a clear title and is licensed in MN. The engine is missing the carburetor and a few other parts. Also missing is the original front seat. Bucket seat on driver side looks to be out of a mid sixties Buick? This car is overall solid and is a great start for someone. Front suspension is original straight axle and not knee action.
I purchased this car with intentions of building it, but my plans have changed. Car has all of the hard to find pieces. Garnish moldings are all there.Running boards are missing and were removed prior to my purchase. The car has some standard rust in the front driver side floor, but is far better than most. Driver side rocker panel has a few rust spots and probably should be replaced when floor is repaired. Door bottoms have been patched at some point when the car was given a paint job but are very fixable. Doors open and shut fine. All glass is there less the passenger side door. Glass is in fair to poor condition. Trunk lid is in good shape with locking handle. Tool kit area in rear trunk floor has the standard rust out. Original bumpers and braces are in tact.
This is a hard to find body style that is overall complete and solid. Original wheels and tires will go with this car. Tires and rims on car will be removed following the sale and are not included with the car. Car rolls great and will load with ease. As listed, car has a clear title and is currently licensed in MN. Please view the listed photos and ask questions as needed.I can be reached at 218-689-1934.
