Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS

1967 Chevy Camaro Convertible SS

We are proud to have this beautiful 67 Camaro SS in our inventory. Some of you may recognize this great car from just over a year ago. We did sell this car before.

The Camaro never left Texas after we sold it for a local customer. However, due to illness in the family, the new owners had to sell it. We were happy to help do that. The current owner has done some fine tuning to the engine and it runs even better than it did before.

The interior is extremely nice in the Camaro. There have been just enough upgrades to maintain the original look but yet give it that resto mod touch.

The aftermarket a/c is operated by the original controls.

In 1967 The SS was a trim package. One of the things that determined it was an SS was the engine. It was either a 350/295 hp or a 396. The engine code on the block shows this one to be a 350/295 hp engine and it does have the partial VIN# to prove it's the original engine.

The original cocktail shakers are intact in the trunk.

There were some areas of rust on the car when it was purchased back i2 owners ago, and we have CDs with photos of work done. The car was brought to a rust free professionally done #1 car at that time, around 2007.

These were used in 67 and 68 to help eliminate the vibration in the convertibles at higher speeds. They are actually balasts, filled with springs, weights and fluid.

There is a custom made boot in the trunk, but it has never been put on the car.

In 2014 The owner we sold it for originally also took the car to HCC Performance in the Dallas area and had them go over the engine again and they decided to swap the rebuilt TH400 transmission to a 4L60e transmission.

This is still on of the finest Camaro's we have had the pleasure to sell.

There are quite a few Camaros out there that have been re-stamped and have the wrong data tags, etc. This appears to be the real thing. The data tag is attached correctly, and the block seems to have it's original stamping.

The car was originally Deepwater Blue with black interior from the factory, but looks stunning in Tuxedo Black.

The engine compartment is very well done. You can see the 3 pulleyserpentine belt set up.

This is a beautiful Camaro which is ready to show or just enjoy.

This is a short video of the top operating and the engine start. just click the sentence above.

There is one flaw on the car and that is this small crack in the paint on the driver's side near the stainless strip around the top.
