Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Big Block 4-Speed Coupe. Yenko? I think so, but I do not have the provenance to prove it. I know for sure by the numbers that it 100% did start life as a Big Block SS car with the 4-Speedand 12 Bolt, also the casting numbers on the block are correct for a1969 COPO 427 Big Block, so far so good. It does have the proper Engine, Trans, and Rear End to be a true Yenko, but it is not registered on the Super Car registry, I have a clean and clear title, but I bought the car from an abandoned property auction some time ago and have no history prior to my ownership. I would say to bid assuming it's a really good clone, but with some leg work, it could maybe actually be the real deal. Chasing the original paperwork down is beyond what I can do, but if someone has the connections and wants to do the leg work, this could be the homerun of the century.

The car is very clean, and looks to have had some restoration work done in it's lifetime. Sadly someone along the line of ownership thought Silver was a cool color (sad face) and repainted the entire car Silver. They did a decent job, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The original color was dark blue, and I sure do wish it were still that color. Some sheet-metal around the car is definitely new, but I can't be 100%sure of what. It's too clean to be original, so I assume the quarters and fenders were replaced at some point. The pictures should tell the story a bit. The floors are all solid, and the car was undercoated at some point as well.

Interior is all in excellent shape. I have to assume most of it was replaced at some point as well, just too clean to be original. Has an aftermarket steering wheel that I do not care for, but it gets the job done. Aftermarket radio as well, par for the course at this age of vehicle.

Mechanically, strong runner, drives great, lots of power, clutch grabs great, goes through all the gears smoothly. Puts the power down as it should, no surprises there. 427 Big Block, Edelbrock Intake, MSD Ignition, Long Tube Headers, Upgraded Aluminum Radiator, Added Electric Cooling Fans, aftermarket air cleaner.

This is a really good cruiser, and an absolute head turner. It is in excellent shape, but not too perfect where you would be afraid to drive it. Please don't show up expecting a Concourse restoration car. It's not that, it is a beautiful driver, but you could get picky if you wanted to, it's not perfect.

I'm running this in a TRUE NO RESERVE sale here. Bid to win, have your finances in order, and feel free to contact me with the mountain of questions you have, and I will do my best to answer anything I can.
