Description of 1983 Chevrolet El Camino

Selling my long time family car. Its been in the family for 25 years. It started life as black v6 car. my dad gave it to me 10 years ago and I went all thru it. First thing was the power plant. Swapped out the tired v6 for a big block 396. Bored 30 over with a healthy can and rockers. I bought it built and it has very few hours on it. but it runs very strong. That breaths thru headers and 40series flow masters. Next was the paint. Went with the red in the picture. changed the nose and went with the fiberglass SS nose. but I have the original front end and bumper that goes with it. and its in perfect shape. Also a custom interior was installed. The car was finished off with Body Coddington rims. Its a first place car at every show. Super Chevy winner 3/3. The odometer shows 38. xx. however it is 138. 00. but only a few thousand since the restoration. This car is for sale only because I have too many other projects and don't have the time or space for this one anymore. The price is negotiable. within reason!
