For sale is this beautifully restored 1970 C20 Chevrolet Truck with 36. 07 ORIGINAL MILES!!! It was originally purchased by my neighbor that ran a local tavern/grocery store. It was used to get supplies for their business from the neighboring town. which is the reason for the extremely low mileage. The truck has the ORIGINAL TIRES yet on the split ring rims. After the original owner passed on. one of his friends purchased the truck from the widow to honor his friend. He paid a body shop to completely go thru and make this truck perfect again. They did a great job! Being an original Wisconsin truck. I'm amazed how solid and clean it is. Clearly it wasn't driven often! The frame is very solid. Some of the floor pan was replaced. as well as the back cab supports. Other then that. I cannot tell any other replaced body panels. The bottom of the radiator core support has some repair work done as well. That's about all I could see. They did install a late model GM front bench. It fits very well. and is comfortable! It is a wood floor box. and was replaced with green treated lumber for longevity. If you want the original look. replace the wood. It's not that hard of a job. After having this truck restored. the 2nd owner mainly had it stored in his garage. Taken out on rare occasion. but driven a few times a year. I've taken all kinds of pictures. and can take more if you specify what you're looking for. The truck was well optioned for work. Heavy duty everything! See the pic on the options list. HEAVY DUTY!! No Spin rear differential! Heavy Duty Springs front and rear. The big front tow hooks!!The front driveshaft u-joints were loose. so I had them and the CV joint replaced. The front drive shaft is like new! This truck runs incredible. Purrs like a kitty. The only issue is the passenger side front wheel cylinder. It appears to need replacing. as it catches early and pulls to the right when applying the brakes. If you are not capable of repairing. I can get if repaired locally and you pay the bill. The transmission shifts smoothly. This is a manual drum brake truck. with manual steering. It steers nicely. and other than the sticking wheel cylinder. the brakes seemed solid! The exhaust is the only thing on the truck not up to par. The muffler went. and a cherry bomb went on. It's quiet. but I had wanted to change this to a full exhaust replacement. Just haven't done so yet. Everything to the best of my knowledge works on this truck. except the parking brakes. I've never tried them. No need with granny low 1st gear anyhow. Doors open and close like new. Tailgate opens and closes like new. Hood open and closes like new. This truck is done right!!! Step bumper added to rear. and sliding rear window is unknown if original. or replaced. They also put on a visor from Lund. Hard to find them anymore!In some of the pics. you will notice different wheels and tires on the truck. I installed them to see how it rode with radials. I was impressed. Those tires are not included with the sale of this truck. They were only installed briefly to get a feel for the road manners. The Factory Original Tires and Wheels are the value here. They are what you get in this sale!Last off. I just went out today 12/2/14 on a 26° F morning and it fired right up. Ran smooth.
