1955 Chevy Bel Air Show CarOld School Custom Chopped Hot Rod. Hydraulic Front end. Air shock rear. Very clean and solid throughout. Beautiful chop job that shows outstanding with excellent gaps. seams and cuts that align everything beautifully. Undoubtedly one of the best chop jobs we have ever seen. No cracks. splits. or blemishes on the metal on the chop job. Glass was cut to perfection. These cars are one of the hardest there is to chop. This was an older job believed to have been done several years ago that shows outstanding! This car was completely built a few years ago and shown and pampered for several years with very little wear. We were told the car was a feature car in Hot Rod Magazine in the 90's; however. we do not have the magazine. Drive with the car half way up in the front and it handles beautifully - All the way up resembles a gasser - All the way down when its parked and it looks like a low-rider! 3 looks in one car!!! CLEAN and detailed engine bay with mirrors under louvered hood. Pinstriped inside the engine bay as well as the door jams! a mildly built 350 Chevy motor with tons of pep. Edelbrock aluminum intake and new Edelbrock carb. Mild cam. Accel Distributor. TH350 transmission with a Quicksilver B+M Shifter. Manual shift valve body in transmission. New battery. Newer gas tank and sending unit. GORGEOUS custom crushed velvet interior including the seats. door panels. headliner. rear dash and trunk compartment. Gorgeous dash. All lights. blinkers. horn. wipers. radio. etc. work as they should. Stewart Warner gauges. Glass is in excellent condition. Chrome and bright-work throughout is beautiful. Custom hand-painted pin-stripping throughout. Pin-stripping can be seen on the body. engine compartment. door jambs. dash board. etc. Hand painted and gorgeous. This car drives and handles excellent. Mechanically extremely sound - Drive anywhere!Known Flaws: Drips a little oil and the radio does not work; however. the cassette deck does.
