Description of 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 110

Up for auction is a clear titled, 1965 Corvair Monza 110. This car saw 79, 25 miles of road service, but has spent the last 28-29 years in a storage unit and last inspection was 1986. In the car were some garage receipts from some of the previous owners maintenance items. The Fram filter looks like it was put on a week ago. I have no keys so have not attempted to start it and have other projects taking priority over this one to put time in and get it started. It's a good project start. This has not been modified or stripped as far as I can tell. Both carbs and linkage are there and free, engine is able to be turned over by pulling fan belt, lower guards on engine are still there too. I feel the engine would run with little work, carbs cleaned, etc. Car has automatic transmission. It was put into storage and the parking brake was set so rear brakes are locked. I can help load onto car trailer or let you use a big hammer to whack the drums. :)

Body is a big point with this car. Spending less than half its life out in the elements has helped a great deal- …the rust belt did take the sheetmetal on the front floor pans though but it does look like the supports under the floor are still there. Looks to be some rust around where battery box was in rear of car...I haven't gone over with fine tooth comb, but have looked around it well. Front (trunk) pan looks to be in good condition from below it. No keys- haven’t opened hood to see what is stored in there. Body has VERY little rust. It has some dings in it but they are on solid metal so a big plus there. All glass is intact and in good condition. Driver’s side window is off the track. Bumpers are solid, but rear has a dent and front looks like the car was pulled by it at one point but nothing really, really bad. One piece of trim is missing on passenger side rear along with tail lens. See overall pics. Interior is what you’d expect for a forty nine year old car. Dash is good door panels are fair, seats need recovered, Original radio is with car but not installed, headliner been repaired not well. –typical forty nine year old car stuff.

I've relisted and added more pics of the underside of the car. Basically the floor pan at driver's and passenger's feet are rusted out. It doesn't appear to be rusted out in the rear floor pans or anywhere else under the car. Again, being in storage 29 years saved this from being a typical 'rust belt' victim. Very easy floor patch.

All tires are flat or split from sitting for nearly three decades. Three of four original hubcaps are on the car, all four head lights are the cool era correct T3’s.

The car needs an overhaul but is a really good start as far as a solid body, factory glass, trim, and for the most part… complete.
