1973 Chrysler Newport Custom - 2 Door - 400 Big Block
Scarce Hard to Find 73 Newport Custom - these are getting a lot harder to find
has some issues which I will list but would be a great restoration project !
It has been sitting for 5 years but regularly started and driven around the yard - it's a cold starter but runs good
2 Door Big Block 400 with a 2 barrel
here are the issues:
has been sitting so will need fluids flushed
water pump has a drip
interior looks good but has the beginnings of mold from the Oregon weather ( will need a good cleaning )
front shocks are shot
I'm selling this for a friend and he has started taking off the vinyl top to slow down the rust so has a partial vinyl top
has rust holes below the rear window ( see pics )
trunk is good no leaks but does have surface rust
defrost fan is not working
headlight switch is missing
left rear quarter panel has a long shallow crease type of dent ( see pics )
odometer reads approx: 74,000 ( probably has turned over once )
transmission was rebuilt at some point
floor pan and body are solid and straight with no rust issues
has a newer full exhaust system
