1956 Chrysler Windsor
DONT BID UNLESS you are a REAL BUYER LOW reserve BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Very cool car thats been here in Az for many many yrs. 76k miles on the clock, ould be original too. The car has been sitting for a few yrs and un restored. We dropped a batter in the car and poured gas down the carb several times and the motor runs and sounds good. When it was parked it had no issues with the drivetrain. The pb booster is missing and the PS pump is not longer connected not sure why. The brakes need to be bleed too. Very un restored original car with min rust on the LR 1/4 and minor rust starting on the RR. Rest of the car is extremely solid. SEE PICS BELOW Interior showing its age from being in AZ many yrs, ut it could be driven as is once you fix the mechanics.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, pparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, ll be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, f we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition that are still affordable to most buyers.
DRIVETRAIN: this car has its factory SPITFIRE V8 and looks very original for the most part. When the car was parked a few yrs ago it was running and driving fine. Now it needs at least a battery, uel pump, ires, rakes bled and maybe a booster, efore it can be a driver. Great patina all over the car. As mentioned prior, he motor runs and starts with the key with the help of pouring gas down the carb.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, he interior of this car is pretty decent For an unrestored car this old. Its going to need some repair but it all depends on how much you want to restore it. Headliner would be a good start. All the glass looks good and doors work fine. PS front outter door handle is broken. Floors feel good and not soft. EXTERIOR:the body and chrome on this car are really decent for not being restored and the patina is an added plus in my opinion. Just make it mechanically sound and drive it the way it is and you will be the envy of everyone at the next car show. The car really looks like it should look back in the 70s. I think the paint is all original too, nd if it is then you know that theres no previous repairs and bondo on the car. Chrome and stainless in very nice shape for its age. Polish it up some and It would pass for a daily anytime.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks mostly stock and untouched other then the normal stuff like shocks and brake work over the yrs. but Im sure its going to need some bushings replaced in the near future because its not restored and of its age. At least for now, nce road ready, ou will be able to hop in and drive it around town. Minimal rust under the car, aking taking this car apart, lmost a breeze !! IT WILL NEED NEW TIRES !!!! Spare in the trunk is an old bias ply too. Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a slow connection, o be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
There you have it, robably The BEST represented Mopars on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad, ope you appreciate them. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, t still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes. This is NOT OUR MOST RUST FREE CAR we have sold over the years, ut its still better then most out there for sale or bondo-ed up to look restored. Also, f you buy a car thats been "restored", ho knows what sort of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, or a quick buck and quality suffers.
