Description of 1970 Citroen Other

DS 20 Pallas Citromatic European model sold in Canada with turning headlights and rear heater. in excellent. rust free condition and one of the nicest daily drivers around. Very well loved and maintained over the years. it was annually " which prevented any rusting and. I understand. never winter driven. Over $15. 00 spent (documented) in the last year and with work done by a professional mechanic. including new clutch etc. new water pump. new brakes. discs & pads. new wiring harness throughout. upgraded electronic ignition. new spheres. brake and main accumulators. rebuilt high pressure pump. new engine mounts and drive shaft boots etc. Upgrade to electric radiator fan. reconditioned radiator. rebuilt carburetor and new timing chain tensioner. complete new exhaust system. front to rear including muffler. to name some of the many items. Since the clutch needed replacing and with the engine and gearbox removed to do the work. we took the opportunity to look at all the mechanical items and repaired or replaced where we thought necessary. The engine itself was and is in very good shape with over 55 psi oil pressure at 2500 RPM and it has a very good and smooth shifting. Citromatic gearbox. New headliner and new leather front seats. are some of the many upgrades. All work was performed by Victoria Classics in South Florida. The car was repainted in Canada about 15 years ago. so it’s no longer cosmetically perfect and it's not the original color. I'm not representing the car cosmetically. as a runway cream puff. but it certainly needs nothing to be enjoyed and driven for many more years before a new paint job is necessary. unless you want it perfect now. The pictures tell the story pretty well and now it's mechanically also strong. Only interior blemish is at the top of the rear bench seat. which is just beginning to show a few small rips at the stitching. otherwise the interior is very good. Note; the truck lining and carpeting was removed and left out many years ago to prevent rust after initial repairs. a Citroen DS problem rust prone area. Note. mileage on speedometer reads 88. 20 which may or may not be correct?
