Description of 1937 Cord Westchester |
This is number 46 of the first 100 pre-production hand-built Cords produced. There are thought to be only a handful of the hand-built cars still on the road. This car was resurrected with a full restoration in the 80's or 90's by adding an Oldsmobile Toronado power train. The Cool Orchard Green is a striking original Cord color. The interior is wool broadcloth. It has always drawn attention at car shows. This an automobile with the classic lines of the remarkable Cord 812 but with an updated V8 engine and automatic transmission. The radiator is located beneath the car with three electric fans. This car is available for sale locally and may be withdrawn from auction. |
