Description of 1973 Datsun Z-Series |
swap was done about 5-6 years ago engine was new from summit. aluminium ford head, edlebrock intake holley carb, roller cam, bigger brake booster,PPG paint, base/clear looks good from 5 feet garage kept, Although the paint looks good, it is not perfect has ascratchon the door seepictures, one spot of rust on the car on the door it is about three bubbles each the size of a pencl eraser, racing seats new door panels from a 280z (locks dont match) everything works except fuel gauge, no rust, floor pans have been patched, underneath of entire car has been por 15 dual flow master, headers, momo steering whee, full dash cap 18" wheels new with tires sounds mean with lumping cam yes it will fly. 350HP @ fly wheel auto trans I will try to add link to video of the car runningI am trying to be up front and honest with the car I want both parties to be happy with the sale . I bought the car with hopes of a 5 speed conversion but now I have a turbo 240z that needs an engine so this one must go . I have bought and sold cars from far away I can ship but will need payment in advance. I can ship world wide. I do have references and have a good ebay score. good : very few miles on the engine estimated under 10, engine runs great no problem, no rust other than the spot on the door . I have pics of underneath. paint looks good . motor mounts were custom made and solid Bad: nothing serious but here it is Brakes are original, the booster is bigger and from a ford . The brakes work but are kind of soft I think they need to be bled hope to get to it this week but not sure. Seat belts are old school lap belts I had planed on replacing them. The carb is a holley 750cfm . It is too big and if you stomp on it it will bog. I plan to rejet it or replace with a 600 or 650 cfm. Not a big deal just haven't gotten to it. The previous owner put 18" wheels on it they are like new as are the tires but they rubbed so they put bump stops in the springs which prevent the springs from traveling the full distance. Yes it is ok, safe etc. I am not a fan and I was going to go to a 16" wheel and take out the bump stops. tires are almost new. I don't think you could build the car for my reserve price. Not in a crazy hurry to sell. If you are serious my number is 828 242 6181 I have no problem sending pictures etc. just please don't mine or your time.please leave # only trades are XKE, or pre 1988 911 can send more pics or video for someone who serious On Jul-24-16 at 05:01:04 PDT, seller added the following information: More photos coming . Please send phone #. If you are serious . I encourage everyone to look at it or talk with me before bidding . I have video and can take more On Jul-24-16 at 17:35:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Edit. the door panels are from a 280z so the door locks are off by about an inch so therefore there is an extra hole on the panels. The side markers and fuel doors have been deleted. Looks very professional. Sharp. I had the car up on a rack to take more pictures and video. I notice that the pan on the transmission is wet so probably needs a gasket. Also on my home the speedo stop working. should just be a loose wire it was working last week. I have seen a lot of bids without that many questions please call me if you are really interested. I want the buyer to be happy and for real. 828 242 6181 9-9 EASTERN STANDARD USA time On Jul-25-16 at 08:14:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I have clean clear titleIn my name . |
