Description of 1983 Datsun Z-Series |
1983 Nissan 280ZX 2+2 with T tops. This car is restored and needs nothing for a fun 80's sports car. I- 6 non turbo, 5 speed, power windows, locks, cruise, AC. As for whats been done when I restored it winter of 2014. First off this car spent most its entire life in Florida so there so no rust anywhere on the car. Interior: Dynamat the entire floor and doors. New carpet and Loyds floor mats. Seats have been recovered in new foam and fabric. Autosound installed an Alpine CD Bluetooth stereo with a custom built speaker box for the rear hatch. Exterior/Engine Complete new custom paint job, 2 toned the way the factory did it but using Porsche carbon black and Eleanor Mustang dark pepper gray. Eibach springs and new struts all around, lowered the car about 1.5" New power steering rack. New fan clutch, belts and hoses. Complete tune up. New mass airflow sensor, these commonly go bad. New valve cover gasket. New hydraulic clutch slave cylinder. New Clutch, flywheel April 2016 New Water pump April 2016 This car has only been driven 10,000 miles in the last 13 years, it is considered a historic vehicle so tax and tags are very cheap, I myself have only driven it about 500 miles in the last year, mainly out to dinner and car shows. I currently have Hagerty collectors insurance on the car which is also very affordable. This is a great car, everything work on it except cruise control and the clock, when you dive it you get lots of looks and comments, you wont be disappointed. |
