I originally purchased this car with 55,228 milesin 2002 from Ebay. The seller said it was a running car. After arriving in MO and trying to start the car it would just back fire and leak gas out of the carbs. Since I drive from PA to MO I decided to take the car home. After arriving back in PA I started to diagnose the problem and basically decided to rebuild the engine and make it a 3.1 liter Stroker. I had worked on this car for about 5 yrs off and on(when I had the money)and now it just sits in my garage.I do get it out and drive it around the block, now has55,958 miles on it.I have lost interest in completing everything " I " wanted to get done. The things I believe it still needs: - A matching slave cylinder for the Willwood clutch master cylinder.
- I never completely installed the Nitrous System.
- The fuel cell sending unit needs a 10 ohm resister wired in to read the fuel level correctly on the gauge.
- A new set of Aluminum rims. The ones on it now are steel. (Some chrome flaking off spokes)
The motor has a 2.8l diesel crank, 240 rods JE pistons, nitrous blown valve seats, stainless steel tulip valves, mallory ignition, holly four barrel, deep sump aluminum pan, comp cam and more. I replaced the rear end with a 3:90 r200 rear disc brakes and installed a 5 speed transmission. The color of the car is nissan 04 350z blue. there are a few stone chips in the paint, those fenders stick out there and some nicks from me bumping into it in the garage. I found no rust on this car while working on the car.The body work (gnose and fenders) was done by the previous owner. There is so much to say about the car I can't list it all. The car is by no means perfect, but from what I seen sold and for what I want for for it, it's pretty d**n nice. My reserve is less than the receipts I have and the car is being sold as is. If there is a pic you need or a question let me know.Sorry about the spider webs in the photos but that how much I don't drive it. |
