Welcome to my Auction- Fantastic opportunity to purchase this long time owned 1969 Datsun 2000 roadster. I have owned this car for 34 years going all the way back to 1981. The car was last registered in 1994. The car was developing little issues so I put it in dry storage. covered it in a airplane hanger in the dry climate of West Texas. My thought was one day I would have it restored. This day finally came and I had some work performed just to find out I wouldn't have a proper budget to do the car justice. We started with the hydraulic system. clutch master. clutch slave. brake master. and rear wheel cylinders have been rebuilt. The wheel cylinders are installed but the masters and slave are not installed. Also as shown in the pics is a brand new installed gear induction starter. Also. the fuel sending unit in the gas tank has been installed. Tank has been cleaned. We rebuilt the twin carburetors. installed new points. cap and spark plugs and gave it fresh fuel and the old girl fired up. At this point we found the head gasket was leaking. It held great oil pressure and didn't smoke at all and sounded good. The bones of this car are great. It is 99% rust free. Only two spots to note behind both rear wheels one is an inch in diameter and the other is about an inch and a half. They are just blisters - no rust thru. Floors are perfect. Trunk floor is perfect. Hard to find a Datsun this rust free. Car comes with hardtop as shown. It is really in nice condition but will need rubber seals around door glass fitment. Car was painted over 20 years ago so it has some typical paint chips. Car is very presentable as is. Could be a daily driver with a mechanical minded person to fix her up. Interior is grey vinyl and in very good condition as is with the carpets. The chrome and emblems are all good driver quality. I never had a front bumper for the car. I liked the way it looked without it. The Falken tires wrapped around aluminum alloys are in very clean. Tires condition are good with lots of time left on them. Car has a modest reserve and for fairness to all bidders it will not be given out so please don't ask. Please email questions before you bid. I will sell world wide.
