If you are looking for a solid vehicle to restore or simply for parts (those alone are worth far more than the price being offered), then this is your car.

With other priorities in life (grandchildren, etc.) this project never came to be. Having waited two decades, it is time for someone to give it the love that it deserves.

This is an original CALIFORNIA car and has never been involved in an accident.
o Car is complete minus front fenders and grill.
o The car has been on DMV non-op for past two decades. This car was last driven on CA
roads in early 1998.
o Car has clear CALIFORNIA title and has no DMV fees / restrictions associated with it.

Here are highlights:
o True 1968 car with no side marker lights and bumper mounted license plate light.
(pre-dates the ugly later Side Marker Lights and body mounted license plate light).
o Numbers match on this car. This is the correct engine block as on VIN Body Tag.

o FactoryU20 2.0L dual SU carb engine with low mileage, running when parked. As
mentioned, this is an original 2000 car, not a transplant.
o 5 speed transmission, which operated flawlessly.
o 160 mph has speedometer and 8,000 rpm tach (later cars went to lower speed and rpm).
o All gauges, radio, etc appear to still operate fine.
o Solid CALIFORNIA floor pans and trunk pan.
o This is a great candidate for a body off restoration.
o CarFrame is in great condition.
o Car has hardtop with portholes.
o Car has four later model mag wheels and wider tires and from an early Datsun 240Z.

• While covered up, some rust formed in the hood and trunk lid. Both are still usable but will need some TLC and repair.
