Description of 1971 Datsun Other

This is a great running little truck. It has the 1600 cc engine. with a Weber carb. It has a manual choke. and starts up easily. It does not smoke or burn oil. I have only owned this truck for a short while. and had big plans. Unfortunately plans change and I must sell this truck. The engine and transmission are good. and I would trust this truck to drive anywhere. I have put about 1000 miles on it. with no problems. I am unsure on the mileage. because the instrument panel can be changed out easily. The odometer shows 16XXX. which if the odometer is original. then I am sure it is 116. 00. I purchased tires and wheels for it. Also I installed a Pertronix points eliminator. and a Flame Thrower coil. Also new Plugs. Plug Wires. Cap. and Rotor. The body is fairly straight. and has no rust through. There is some surface rust on the bed. but can be easily taken care of. The interior has an older version of tuck and roll. It could use a carpet kit. or just drive it the way it is. The previous owner took very good care of this truck. and I am reluctant to sell it. I have a clear Oregon title in my name. along with permanent tags. It has the Special Purpose license plates. so they do not expire. I live about 11 miles from Prineville. Oregon. nbsp;near the reservoir. I am firm on the price so lets not waste each others time. NO cashiers checks. If you want to do payments. the truck does not leave until paid in full. NOTHING in the background is for sale.
