1939 DESOTO 4 DOORS, HE TEAL COLORED ONE IS AN OLDER RESTORATION THAT HAS DETERIORATED RUST REPAIR, ORE THAN LIKELY LOOKED NICE IN ITS DAY, THE INTERIOR WAS DONE BUT THE MICE HAVE CONSUMED SOME OF IT. THE OWNER DECIDED TO PICK UP THE BROWN REALLY SOLID BODY AND WAS GOING TO REDO THE WHOLE THING. THE CHASSIS UNDER THE BROWN BODY WAS REPAINTED IN BLACK AND IT IS A COMPLETE ROLLER, LOORS ARE VERY NICE. THE TEAL FRONT SHEETMETAL WAS REMOVED, LL THE PARTS FROM THE BROWN BODY WERE REMOVED, HE TEAL CAR AND BROWN CAR WERE TAKEN TO A SHOP AND ALL THE PARTS WERE LEFT AT HOME, HE OWNER PASSED ON, HE WIFE CALLED A SCRAPPER WHO CARTED OFF ALL THE MISSING PARTS, HE BODIES LANGUISHED AT THE REPAIR SHOP FORGOTTEN, NTIL WE ACQUIRED THEM IN A PACKAGE CLEAN-UP DEAL MANY YEARS LATER. THE MISSING PARTS SHOULD BE OBTAINABLE TO GET THIS BACK TO A COMPLETE CAR, E DO NOT HAVE ANY DECENT ONES AT THIS TIME. THE ENGINE FIRES WHEN BOTTLE FED BUT HAS AT LEAST ONE STUCK VALVE, HE GRILLE AND OTHER REMAINING TRIM IS VERY GOOD AS ARE THE INTERIOR HARDWARE PIECES, HESE WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY 2 BILLS OF SALE, ESTORE THE TEAL ONE OR USE THE WHOLE LOT FOR PARTS IN A COUPR OR OTHER RESTORATION.
