Here for your consideration is a 1948 DeSoto Suburban. These are very rare and unique cars. This car has paperwork and documentation back to new. It was very well maintained through the years as evidenced by the many pages of receipts. The is one spot of rust in the front floor as seen in the pictures, but the rest of the floorboard and underside of the car is rustfree. The car is currently running and will drive in all gears, but is not roadworthy. It has a gallon jug under the hood as a temporary gas tank. I am sure the original tank needs to be removed, cleaned, and coated. The prior owner was driving this car around his estate until 2017, at which time the brakes went out. He then parked it. I personal like the patina the car displays now and would think bringing all the mechanical components back to proper function would make a fun cruiser. All the glass is either cracked or bubbling and the exhaust is loud. There a several spare parts with this DeSoto including another steering wheel with horn ring, bumper guards, clock, and more. I have over 50 pages of paperwork included with the car. I also have the forth hubcap missing from the right rear wheel. This was a camper of sorts in it's day, with the removable seats and fold down jump seats. This car is sold as is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for moving the car. It can stay here as long as necessary to arrange shipping, but I require full payment within 7 days of auction's end. Thanks for looking.
