Description of 1963 Dodge Dart GT |
Up for auction, ithout a reserve, s a 1963 Dodge Dart GT. This car is truly a survivor status car with its original paint, rive train, nd even the windshield is the original Chrysler boomerang logo windshield. I have the original 1963 signed off Nevada title from the original 1963 purchaser. This is technically a one owner car as it has never been titled in anyones name except the first purchaser. It is very refreshing to see a car this age that has not been altered or molested. When was the last time you saw a 52 year old, ne owner car in this condition? I received documentation on this car back to 1963 when it was purchased from Sunland Motors in Las Vegas, evada. I was told the purchaser was an Air Force Officer stationed at Nellis Air Force base. The car remained in Las Vegas until 2004 when it was given to a son-in-law who lived in Mesquite, evada about an hour north of Las Vegas. I have the Temporary Movement Permit dated May 1, 004, hen it was driven to Mesquite. The son-in-law drove the car for a month till the temporary permit expired, nd he parked it under a car port at his parent's home. The car sat under the car port until 2014 when a friend was able to purchase it. He flushed out the gas tank, eplaced the fuel pump and master cylinder and drove it occasionally unlicensed. When Chrysler accepted my friends deposit on a new Hell Cat, e sold off some of his collector cars to generate some funds for the purchase, nly to be disappointed at a later date. I purchased the Dart because it was so unmolested and original, nd I have a weakness for old Mopars. This is one of those cars that is so unusual that you either love it or think that it is so ugly it is cool. I have owned the car for about 6 months, nd have rarely driven it. It seems to run and drive just fine, oes not smoke, nd I haven't noticed it leaking. After sitting in a storage unit for 4 months it started on the second attempt. The headlights, urn signals, ack up lights, ipers, ransmission, nd engine all seem to operate just fine. The gauges all seem to work except the fuel gauge. The car is very straight with only a few minor dents and dings. The only rust seems to be above the drives wheel well, nd the very bottom of the rear quarters, hich would be an easy fix. The headliner and carpet should be replaced. You are welcome to view the car personally, r contact me directly for more information. I can be reached at (801) 910-6306. I live near Provo, tah just off interstate highway I-15, ip code 84003. Look at the photos carefully, all and ask any questions, ut what you see is what you get. The car needs a full and total restoration to be perfect. I have the original signed off Nevada title dated 1963 from Sunland Motors, nd other documents from the original purchaser. By bidding on this auction, ou agree to the terms as outlined. Please only bid if you have the funds available to complete the purchase. You are not bidding on an "option to buy" but bidding to own. Perform your due diligence before you bid. A $500.00 deposit is to be paid via Pay Pal within 48 hours of the auction end, nd the balance paid by bank transfer, r cash at pick up. No tire kickers or trades please!! This car is for sale locally, nd has generated a fair amount interest. If you are interested in this car, id early or it may be gone to another buyer. If you have no eBay feedback, r you have less than 98% positive feedback, all before bidding. |
