1955 DODGE CORONET 2dr HARDTOP, 70 V8, SPEED MANUAL I'm listing this vehicle as is, here is & with complete honesty in hopes that the right buyer will read this listing& purchase as she needs a new home. I saw this on CL & it happened to be very close to my home so I went to take alook. The seller was like myself... always on the lookout for classic cars in need of saving & he had found it in a barn, ucked away since the late1970s in Floyd county, A. I have never had a decent 50s car before so I was drawn tothis time capsulebecause it was complete, lean of heavy rust & straight. TheRed Ram motor was locked up from its long sit, he plugs were removed & mystery oil poured in but besides cleaning it a bit & installing tires I haven't done much since it was purchased this summer. I paid $2000. for the car & will accept any offer over that amount thru the bidding process.I feel like I'm breaking some rule telling you that but what the hell, ts the truth. It comes with abeautiful, lean title. The car rolls & the original material is under two layers of seat covers. It is a three-toned color car & the story I heard was that it was the most beautiful car in the valley when it was new. It can be again & I hope somebody will make the effort to come see this neat car & make it theirs. I really want a 69 Superbee 4sp & am selling all my cars to save up for a nice one. Everybody thinks their cars are special & maybe they are but I can assure you this car IS well worth restoring. I have years of experience & I would not have purchased this & paid the price if it wasn't special.
