Description of 1971 Dodge Charger Special Edition |
1971 Dodge Charger Special Edition This vehicle was in storage for several decades before being resurrected in 2014. Factory A/C car but not hooked up right now. I have all the air conditioning components in a box to be included in the sale. New 440 motor with new rebuilt 727 transmission. This car was completely sandblasted and brought down to metal before being painted in 2014 (over $10k invested). New vinyl top was installed over full paint job, o the next owner has the option to remove vinyl top if so desired. New sound deadening and jute padding underneath the new 80/20 loop carpet kit from Legendary Auto Interiors. New seat upholstery kit from Legendary Auto Interiors. New bows and headliner from Legendary Auto, rofessionally installed. Driver side visor has a few small cracks in it and some of the interior panels need TLC (see pictures of sail panels and side panel). However, ery presentable for a driver and cheap to replace if the next owner desires. Dynamat and vinyl kit in trunk. Trunk undercoated when paint was done in 2014. Well over 16k in paint and drivetrain alone. The paint is darn near perfect and looks stunning on the car. I can't find a blemish anywhere. Believed to have all original body panels and laser straight body lines. No bondo or body filler anywhere on this car. Absolutely no rust. Very clean undercarriage! New Front wheel cylinders. New heater core. New fuel sending unit. New transmission. New motor with less than 1000 miles. New cap, otor and spark plugs/wires. 4 barrel carb, resh rebuild and tune. New belts and hoses. Air shocks in the back so you an adjust ride height up about 3 inches in the rear. Brand new 17x9" 'YEAR ONE' Rally wheels and lugnuts, ncredibly lightweight and strong cast Aluminum wheels. Wrapped in Continental SportContact High Performance all-season tires. New power steering pump and brackets. New front wheel bearings. New front brakes, ads, rake lines, resh fluid. Stops on a dime. Rock solid oil pressure and engine temps. -Runs and drives great. The 440 packs plenty of power and the new transmission reliably delivers the power to the road. -All lighting, ail lights, unning lights and turn signals work as they should. Including sequential indicators. -I still have the original build sheet from when the original carpet was pulled up. Odometer reads 51,819 and climbing. -Always run on 91 octane fuel. I am happy to facilitate and help arrange shipping for the next owner of this 1971 Dodge Charger. Vehicle is for sale locally so auction may be ended early. Clean title in hand. $1500 due at the end of the auction and remainder due within 5 days via bank wire or cashiers check. Vehicle sold as-is, o warranty expressed or implied. What you see is what you get! Please respect these conditions, am an honest seller and do my best to accurately describe the condition of this beautiful 440 Charger. |
