You are bidding on a 1971 Dodge Coronet Creastwood Wagon. This Car has been VERY WELL taken care of over the last 45 years of its life! We are currently trying to trace its history. It appears to have spent most of its life in the arid Sand hills of North-Western Nebraska. The odometer shows only 19,000 + miles. Judging from the condition of the "wear spots" such as the pedals, carpet, rear seats, steering wheel, A/C condenser, rocker panels, 1980’s oil change records, ETC. one would have to believe that the mileage cannot be too far off. This car is a true survivor! We purchased it a couple years ago, since then we have recovered the front seat in O.E.M. material. We were able to find{ 1971 Blue Plaid } from a vendor that they still had some in stock. The front seat material was just dry and sun baked and starting to come apart, someone had put a blanket seat cover on. We have also repaired/ replaced the wiper motor that someone had removed and also the dual snorkel air-cleaner. Someone apparently has removed the “wood grain decals” years ago. We repaired the broken antenna mast, fuel sender float, fan shroud, left motor mount, transmission pan gasket & shift shaft seals, fuel lines from the fuel pump to carb, replaced the engine hoses and belts. We have also replace the O.E. wheels and hub caps with the 15 X 8 Patrol Car wheels with Dog Dish caps along with new radial tires. We have taken this car to several car shows and the car drives Great!, it always gets a lot of attention and someone always has a story of sitting in the rear facing seat as a kid! I believe the car could be driven anywhere and enjoyed for years to come. Because it is an factory "N" engine code optioned ca, 383 H.P. engine, dual exhaust, 150 MPH speedometer and the #'s matching engine, transmission and rear end are all still in place, this is an exceptional find! If you enjoy Station Wagons this is defiantly one to take a look at! Someone could spend thousands dollars finding a wagon body, fixing rust, finding interior part, glass, ETC. enough parts to assemble and install a big motor on and on.... but this one already has the #'s matching HP. Motor, A/C and ready to go! Hate to see it go but we have too many other projects that are in the works to keep everything so we will let someone else have the "Family Truckster" and "Total Blast" experience that we have had. NOTE: This car is also listed locally so the auction may be ended at any time. Please call if you have any questions and leave a message, I will return your call. 402-631-7214 .
