1970 Dodge Coronet 500. Was originally equipped with a 383 2bbl., now has a 400 4bbl. Automatic transmission, column shift. Bucket seats, power steering, A/C, 8 3/4 rearend (not a sure-grip). Has a Superbee power bulge hood. 14" Rallyes. The vinyl top was removed and the roof looks solid. Headliner is falling down. The car is a driver but probably wouldn't be trustworthy on a long trip. Other than the motor the car is very original and unmolested. Appears to be all original sheet metal with the exception of the hood. Has rust in the lower rear quarters and trunk floor. Front right frame rail needs minor repair. Engine runs pretty well but the oil on the dipstick gets milky, it probably needs a head gasket but there is the possibility that something is cracked. It has a brand new electronic distributor. The transmission works well but leaks and the rearend has a drip. A/C is intact but I haven't tried it to see if it works. Car basically needs a complete restoration or with some tinkering could be made into a decent driver. I have a clear title, the fender tag is still on the car and there is a partial build sheet still under one of the bucket seats. The car should be trailered due to issues mentioned above. There are many other small things that need to be fixed such as speedometer, fuel gauge, exhaust etc. etc. etc. ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDINGbecause the car is sold "AS IS" and where is.
