Description of 1969 Dodge Charger |
Another Barn Find from my computer-challenged friend in Burlington, NC. This month's gem is a 1969 Dodge Charger, Green with black vinyl top, black bucket interior, Auto trans w/ console, factory A/C. Car originally came with the HP383, but now has a later 2bbl 400 that does not run. The original HP exhaust manifolds survived and look good. Looks to have to original radiator, too, but will need a recore. 727 3-speed auto trans. 8-3/4 rear end with unknown gear ratio, one-wheel-peel. Drum brakes all around. Exterior sheetmetal is in good to fair condition. Lower quarters have rot, the rearmost section of left rocker has similar rot. Trunk lid is good with no holes, just some heavy surface rust. Hood is in similar shape. Interior floors are rotten, but floor under back seat looks good. Trunk floor gone, too. Overall, a pretty typical 69 Mopar. K-frame, frame rails and spring hanger areas are all rock solid. Has low back buckets that will need recovering and probably new foam. Back seat has great frames & springs and will also need recovering. Has correct rallye dash with clock and the original thumbwheel radio is still present! Deluxe 3-spoke steering wheel. Although otherwise listed in the details, there is NO TITLE. We can help you obtain a title in NC or NY or can provide a bill of sale. Again...NO TITLE. Deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of auction END. Balance due in 7 days of auction END TIME. Cash payment can be made in person or other arrangements can be made with seller. Please e-mail with questions and I will put you in touch with the owner. Thanks! Here's a link to more pics: Charger Pics |
