Description of 1957 Dodge Coronet

Offered for auction here is our 1957 Dodge Coronet 2-dr hardtop; this car is a rust-free California car that was added to our collection in 2008. The car is in excellent shape with only minimal refurbishment done in its life. From what we can tell. the trunk lid and the driver-side rear quarter panel were replaced in the 1970’s. the car appears to have then been painted and hasn't been touched since. Showing only 47. 00 miles on the odometer. this is a beautifully original example of Dodge's new line of Virgil Exner designed automobiles. The interior was re-done many years ago in period-fabrics and is still stunning to this day. No tears. stains. or damage to the panels inside. The car is equipped with the 325 poly-head. 2 barrel V8 engine with the factory California emissions equipment still installed. The car is also equipped with Power Steering and Power Brakes. The engine runs flawlessly and drives down the road with no issues at all. Over the past 7 years. this car has been taken on numerous vacations and trips and has never missed a beat and always brought us home safely. Overall. the car is in excellent shape; the chassis has been gone through to ensure factory performance and safety and the body is ultra-straight and rust-free! This is a car to drive anywhere and turns heads the entire time! Car is located in Lubbock. Texas; only 6 hours West of Dallas/Fort Worth.
