In 1968 Dodge introduced its second generation Charger. Along with door scallops, the iconic dual circular taillights were introduced and ONLY available in '68. 1968 also marked the introduction of the High Performance R/T or Road/Track Package. With the 440 Magnum producing 375HP, the charger was a muscle car to be reckoned with. To add to its legend, the 1968 Charger was part of the one of the most influential car chase scenes in Film History as it raced through the streets of San Francisco in the 1968 film Bullitt.
