Description of 1956 Dodge Delivery Van Stepvan Mail Truck

1950s Dodge Delivery Van
Ex US Postal Truck that was converted for use as a shop truck for an electrical company at some point.
Has an old flathead six cylinder engine and a cool "Push-Button" automatic transmission. Mechanical condition is unknown. Its been sitting for a number of years and will require some work to get it running.
The only identifying body tag lists the model number, the post office it was delivered to and the date of delivery (1956).
The truck has a steel body which includes some rust. Look at the pictures.
The rear rollup door is missing one of the panels and will need to be replaced or repaired.
The truck rolls (as much as it can with flats) and steers. It has the original 17.5" wheels. I will include another set of 17.5 wheels with good tires.
The body has a fiberglass roof section to allow light into the rear of the truck. Seems to be fairly watertight.
The overall length of the van is about 18 feet
Its a project van that will require work but would be a unique truck when finished.
Could be converted to a food truck, swap meet van, daily cruiser or rat rod. Endless possibilities.
