FOR SALE IS A 1956 DODGE COUPE WITH THE RARE D-500 PACKAGE
D-500 PACKAGE- HP 315 HEMI WITH SOLID LIFTERS(56 ONLY YEAR), HEAVY DUTY SUSPENSION. LARGER IMPERIAL BRAKES.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION REBUILT(MOTOR ONLY HAS A LITTLE OVER 60 MILES ON IT.
NEW OLD STOCK CORRECT UPOLSTERY

NEW PAINT, CHROME, EXHAUST,STARTER,RADIATOR, AND GENERATOR
I WAS TOLD BY THE PREVIOUS THAT I PURCHASED IT FROM HIM NOT RESTORED THAT HE WAS TOLD IT WAS AN X POLICE CAR.(I COULD NOT FIND ANY DOCUMENTATION TO SUPPORT THAT, BUT THE ONLY OPTION ON THE CAR IS POWER BRAKES WHICH THE BOOSTER I HAD REBUILT(AUTO TRANS WAS STANDARD FOR THE D-500

I WOULD HAVE NOT RESTORED THE CAR IF IT WAS NOT A TRUE D-500
With the help from a true friend from E-Bay he has helped to figureout the codes on the body plate. The car was built in May 1956 at the Detroit Plant. The car was all Black, 2dr Coupe He is trying to find info on the SP code which shows a # 2. He said it might be a special order code(possiblepolice order) most plates are blank for the SP code
