Description of 1956 Dodge Coronet |
Less than 2000 miles on rebuilt 440 with 1971 Magnum heads, Lunati Cam, new Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and 750 CFM 4BBL. Performer carb. Block was boiled out prior to rebuild. Stainless steel headers with thermal wrap, dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers Transdap remote oil filter, full synthetic oil Lokar TV and throttle cables 4 Row aluminum radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fan Rebuilt 727 TorqueFlite trans. with B&M floor shifter (original pushbuttons and cables still in place). Also, 2 extra quart cast aluminum pan AAJ disc brake conversion consisting of power front disc brakes (11-3/4" rotors) with an adjustable proportioning valve and a supplemental Jegs electric vacuum pump ( less than 1000 miles). Nearly new rear drum brakes. Firestone tires on Unique (sister company of Cragar) 177 series chrome wheels. Also have the original steel wheels with wide whitewalls and set of original full wheel covers. FL heater delete car most of its life ( currently has a Jegs Street Rod heater) Recently completely rewired with an American Autowire harness and fuse block New (7/24/18) Interstate Megatron II 5yr battery Seats, carpet and headliner have all been redone. All original gauges work and are supplemented by a Sun tach. Recent suspension work including new rear sway bar, spring shackles and front and rear poly bushings |
