Description of 1980 Dodge Viper CUSTOM

SEMA 2001 "Best Overall Concept" andVoted number 1 out of 10 Top Viper Powered vehicles ever built! Here's the ultimate in sleeper transportation and the top in our list for baddest-asp Viper powered rides. As you all know, here at Jalopnik, we love anything El Camino or anything that’s been El Camino-ized and when you mix it with a 500bhp Viper V10; how can you go wrong? While we admit, it’s still a PT Cruiser, we still get a little tingly down there at the thought of running up and down Gratiot Ave in this thing. The look of horror on the face of your opposition would be priceless and is more than worth the price of admission.

Bob Fehan of bobfehanmotorsports.com built the PT/10 atop a custom tube frame and it features a unique front grille, front fascia, taillights, a custom rear roll pan, rear bed, spoiler and side exhaust. Hiding behind the BBS wheels are a set of Wilwood brakes, Viper 6 speed and rear diff, and a custom airlift suspension to make sure the PT/10 can handle as well as haul ass. The BFM PT/10 won the award for “Best Overall Concept” at the 2001 SEMA show in Las Vegas. We want one. NOW.

I built this vehicle 16 years ago and it is a true masterpiece in regards to design, engine packaging, chassis and suspension. This vehicle has been in heated and cooled storage scene it came off tour 15 years ago. Back then there were no Mopar create motor wire harnesses available so we had to cheat the production harness to trick the bus system in order to start the motor and have it ready for the SEMA Show. It needs to have the wiring upgraded to one of the new Mopar harnesses available today, and suspension needs to be slightly tuned. The PT was designed and built to be road worthy but was never tested do the high demand to show the vehicle after the SEMA show. it is sold as a show car. This car is truly a cool collectible as you can see in the photographs. "Serious bidders ONLY."
