This truck has 60,700 original miles and counting as I will drive it around as I sell it. This truck has recent fluid changes. The power steering fluid and antifreeze we're not changed. The air filter was replaced and rubber fuel lines were replaced from the gas tank to the metal fuel line. This truck runs great and sounds good. It could use a torque converter as there is a shudder depending on how you drive this truck and lately the shudder has been going away or getting better but ultimately I will say that whenever you get around to it then replace the tourqe converter. The options on this truck include air conditioning and power front disc brakes. This truck has a smooth ride to it as you drive it. When I changed the rear differential fluid, I painted the rear differential cover Chrysler Blue as one or some of the tags bolted to the rear differential cover were Chrysler Blue. The rear differential gear ratio is 3.21 and the rear differential is a Mopar 8 1/4 rear with big drum brakes, I forgot that actual size but they might be 11" with 2.5" or 3" brake drum pads. I am unsure whether the transmission is an A904 or A999 and after I replaced the transmission fluid filter I used enough gasket sealant to cover the side casting number for you to look up which transmission it is. The front brake calipers were replaced with remanufactured calipers from advance auto parts and the OEM calipers are included with the sale of this truck as they have a pentastar casted into them. 1987 is the last year for the slant 6 engines production and after this year the slant 6 was only available in agricultural or commercial vehicles, maybe recreational vehicles as well. This is a very cool truck and I will miss it, I think it is a generation 1 Dodge Ram. This truck is currently tagged as historic and insured.
