This 1971 Dodge D-100 is an original with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work and is used as a daily driver.Seller's NotesRestoration gold or drive as is. Truely an indestructible beast of a pickup truck.ExteriorClassic Dodge D-100 Shortbox "Gasser" from Arizona. Originally owned by Mountain Bell in Tucson, was auctioned in the early 80s, had 2 other owners, then I purchased it in 1995. Slowly this daily driver evolved into a "Gasser." Currently it sits on Camper Special springs re-arched plus 2. Including poly bushings giving this 2×4 about a 4-5 in. lift. Drivetrain was a 400 hp sm blk, 727, 8 3/4 741 casting open with 3.91s. I'm including a ready to run 1972 440 hp (steel crank) shortblock barely broken in. Unknown cam specs, but 8.2 comp, double roller, drivers side exit water pump and housing. Custom driveshaft (needs u-joints) Full sized spare for the rear, and extra steering arm. 33/14.5-15 Micky Thompson's in back, Cordoba Magnums up front. 3/8th in. aluminum fuel line, rebuilt front end, frame stripped to bare metal, primed, painted and clear coated. Absolutely ZERO RUST, this truck spent it's entire life in AZ !!! I removed the radiator, engine, trans and electric fuel pump. Also the Lokar trans/throttle linkage. Nothing else from "running condition" was removed. Powder coated trans cross member is also included. New drums brakes in front, steers straight at over 100mph. Rancho shocks a 4 corners. Class IV receiver in back. Battery is mounted in bed, Underhood tray still in place and powdercoated. Cutoff switch mounted on rear. Truck drove amazingly well, I would swap out the 3rd members, drop down to a 28in. tall tire with 2.76s. and drive from AZ to SF with zero issues. No cracked glass, but new seals are needed. Super clean non dented bed with a perfect tailgate. Shortblock and extra parts will be crated, and packed in the bed for safe transport.InteriorFactory black dash, door panels and bench seat. Industrial rubber floors and a B&M MegashifterEngine1972 440 hp shortblock with low, low, miles. 8.2 comp, double roller, unknown cam specs. Cross hatch still on cylinder walls and no cylinder ridge whatsoever.Deposits are nonrefundable.Created on the eBay Motors app
