Some classics just do it right when it comes to making sure they look authentic without appearing too tired or over-restored. This 1932 Dodge DK Eight Sedan hits this sweet spot, which is particularly tough to accomplish with a pre-WWII sedan.
This was built during The Great Depression, but Dodge refused to lose its flair. This is a festival of cheerful color as the cream paint makes for nice base to showcase some intricate work. The first thing you'll notice is a rich burgundy that flows over the fenders along the running boards. The same burgundy makes a dash across the hood while helping to outline the roof section. But the upper half of the main body is finished in a glossy black. If that wasn't already intricate enough, you're going to notice plenty of thin red pinstriping on top of the burgundy all over the car. This bolder red coordinates with the wheel trim. It's a very thoughtful total package, and it has just the right amount of ageing that some people will walk away thinking they saw an exceptional survivor. While the corduroy cloth on the seats was replaced, it was done with a careful eye. After all, the full green package is quite bold against all the exterior colors, and this one looks like there has been some great care of the last nine decades.
