Description of 1968 Dodge Charger

Real deal black on black 1968 r/t 4 speed track pack Dana 60 Dodge Charger, only way this car could be topped is if it had a J in the Vin for Hemi instead of L for 440. But it still is a rare color in black with no vinyl top and white tail stripe making it one of the meanest looking chargers built. The car has lived a rough life but...it still exists which for r/t 4 speed cars a lot met the junkyard in the sky from being wrecked. These were the hot rods of their time. This one was able to hide from the crusher though even after it was parted out and I mean stripped of everything that made it what it is...no drivetrain, Dana, dash parts, console, interior and so on. It’s just a rolling shell now. It did hang on to it’s original fender tag and it is the original body with original paint as you can see by the body numbers in pictures. What you see in the pictures is all you get. I do have a 1968 440 I will throw in with the car. How often does a real black 4 speed R/T Dodge Charger pop up for sale? Very rarely...i looked for a long time and stumbled across this one, it was not for sale when I found it, but I wanted it and paid for it...sucks to see it go and this isn’t even a for sure sale but if the price is right it will help me with my new business venture.
This was a special ordered car when new, paid for when built. He or she just order the essential hotrod with little to no luxuries but big engine, 4 speed, tach, console and evil in black ...my kinda people

The body is rough...some bullet holes and it has rust but it’s not a total rust bucket as I’ve seen plenty on here sell. The rails are all good, torsion support is good, rockers are good, so the bones of the car are good but it still needs plenty of work. It needs quarter skins or Quarters whichever you prefer, floor patches, rear valance, trunk pan, trunk lid is junk but I will throw in a replacement, dash frame is beat up but I will throw in a replacement, both doors are beat pretty bad, roof skin has dents but it’s not rusty, hood is good, and rear window area is good including filler panel.
