Description of 1980 Dodge Ram Van b200

Up for auction today is my 1980 Dodge Ram Wagon B200 original survivor conversion van with 15,000 actual miles.. blast from the past! With a retro shag carpet and paneled interior. I cosider a custom conversion van with windows. See pictures.
15K plus actual miles. 318 V8 with a factory 4 speed manual transmission with shifter on the floor! Hard to find! Muscle truck?
All original van with zero rust anywhere. Appears to be original paint with correct consistent factory orange peel texture and typical Chrysler quality for the late 70's early 80's era all around. Appears to be the factory enamel, with no fading or peeling anywhere that I can see.
This is a small town Nebraska van that was purchased at Apley's Chrysler Dodge Plymouth in Geneva Nebraska.
It was bought by a gentleman and his wife and they immediately ordered a Montgomery Ward conversion guide kit. Blueprints and or documents used in creating the custom interior are included in sale in original box.
The van runs and drives very well. I believe the clutch to be original and it still works acceptable. The air conditioner works as well. The original AM radio has static over the speakers when channels are change, but does work with a good strong local channel.
This van has been garage kept since new. The garage was attached to their home. Always looked after in storage daily!
No funny smells, no rhodent infeststation, No interior issue's what so ever.
The front seats are as they were in 1980. The rear seats are as old as the fronts and they are outstanding too. The retro shag carpert and wood paneling are excellent. The rear table and seats are all in immaculate shape. Non smokers too. Sitting in the back takes you back to a time when Barry Manilow and Rod Stewart dominated the radio waves. Free love and living on the edge were as common as the sun shining on California beaches.
The chrome is all original and in above average shape. Glass is all good and appears to be Chrysler. All the lights work the horn, dome lights etc. From sitting the brakes tend to have a very so slight "pull". I think an adjustment or just driving it may help. also the fuel gauge is quirky.
The tires appear to be old. Good tread just aged. The wheels are steel with the dog dis caps. You are not getting into a rust bucket either. Always garaged and babied since new.
The original owner of this van passed and it was one of those things that friends always say that "if you ever sell that van I want it"! Thats what happened here in 2016. The friends had it and that where my friend and I found it.
I collect classic Mopar muscle cars. I have a resale certificate issued by my state to keep my hobby legal. Problem is I keep everything. This van is just not me. But was so Cool I had to have it. Now it can be yours.
The van is sold of coarse as is. All issues and positives are in my listing above.
This van is a doll. You'll love it.
