Description of 1979 Dodge Power Wagon Adventurer

Vehicle Details

This 1979 Dodge Power Wagon is equipped with a 360 2bbl carburetor with a 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission and is full time four-wheel drive.

It was owned by the original owner until 2015. I purchased this truck in 2016 from the individual who bought it from the original owner’s estate. The truck was not driven often and was stored inside. The original owner had Ziebart Rust Proofing applied to the truck and has less than 34,000 miles on it. I have documentation and pictures to support the mileage claim. When I purchased the truck, it had only 20,000 miles on it. The original owner repainted the truck to what it is now and had the interior redone. It had most of its original equipment still on it such as the radiator hoses, brake booster vacuum hose, PCV valve, all the flex brake lines, and the spare tire. Since I have owned the truck, I have replaced the carpet because although it was in excellent condition it was house carpet not automotive. The floors looked good with no rust. I added the factory volt and vacuum gages. And, I restored the instrument cluster. All gages work including the clock. I have changed all the brake flex lines, master cylinder, and brake pads. It has new shocks and overload springs on all four leaf springs. A/C is in working order. I have replaced the compressor and made new lines with R134 barrier hose in order to use R134. There are two small spots of rust on the truck. One is above the driver’s rear wheel, and the other is under the driver’s front fender. In 2019, I drove this truck round trip from Greenbrier, Arkansas to Mobile, Alabama which is over 450 miles one way. It did not use any oil, but it did use plenty of gas. I drive this truck often and would not be afraid to drive it anywhere.
