Description of 1964 Dodge Polara 500

Rare 1964 50th anniversary Dodge Polara 500. 383 cu. in. 4 barrel 330hp. 4 speed manual with original Hurst shifter. 3. 23 Sure Grip posi rear end. 2 1/2 inch dual exaust. Mallory dual point ignition. Bucket seats & console. This car is a great example of a complete unrestored early Mopar muscle car that I have owned since 1982. It was a daily driver in nice weather before being stored in 1997. I got a job transfer and decided not to take the car north with me so now is your chance to own a piece of automotive history. The engine recently started right up and is running strong. What sounds like a slight exhaust tick could likely be fixed with a new gasket. The tires are old and show dry cracking. The seats are dry and splitting. The paint is old and fading. Take a good look at all of the pictures. I tried to show all of the options and flaws. This car is not quite ready for a long drive but with a little cleaning and servicing it can be a daily driver again. A little investment in paint and interior and this could be a great car worth double what I'm asking for it here. This is a really fun car to drive. The engine pulls very strong and the transmission was always tight. I also have lots of extra parts including a transmission. interior parts. and engine parts. This car is complete. It's not someone else's half finished restoration. These big block 4 speed Polara 500s are hard to find. It's your chance to drive something different.
