Description of 1959 Edsel Corsair

1959 Corsair Convertible- it is one of only 1343 ever made in the short 3 model years of the Edsel-- .solid #2+restoration completed 2003 by my father and I...RareRedwoodMetallic with Snow White stripe and Jet black convertible top. (Rare on convertibles- I think there are only 4 on record...) Black white silver interior 332 V-8with mile-o-matic-Solid- no rust- beautiful chrome and paint!
Regular options nothing fancy. Radio, eater- car had padded dash and visors- the padded Dash is the one thing this car does need. Fender Skirts and Spinner Wheel Covers. Runs Strong- Shifts Smooth. Drives Great! Beautiful color and paint. Correct pattern and color interior.B9UR 73XXXX 76E DE1 42 17D 3 5. (Car is on record with Edsel organizations etc.)
Undercarriage partially detailed... Trunk and Engine department restored to original specs. Entire car is done to Edsel authentic original preservation standards in all ways possible to the best of today's available materials, tc. Again the dash pad for this car is the only component that was not refinished.

Three Owner Car sold new in Tennessee - was sold new to the dealer's Brother-in-law--- we got it from the second owners who rescued it in the 1970s. Original Owners Manual and misc. Edsel literature included with the car.
Downsizing collection and wanting some new things in life is the only reason I am selling. Still very much an active and interested hobbyist would love to see this car go to a GREAT home :)
