This gorgeous time capsule comes in a clean white and turquoise paint job complimented by a matching convertible top and radiant turquoise interior with white accents. The convertible top is in excellent condition and operates as it should. Powering this head turning cruiser is believed to be the original 332 cubic inch V8 motor mated to a 2-speed automatic transmission. Factory features include power steering and heat.... A full restoration is believed to have been completed roughly 6 years ago to include the powertrain. Please call or email us for more information. 1959 Edsel styling was significantly toned-down, as was the vertical grille assembly, which now featured a fine bar pattern.The Corsair now represented the premium Edsel model range, replacing the discontinued Citation. Unlike in 1958, the Corsair now shared its body panels with the Ranger. The two being differentiated by trim and options. The Corsair also gained a four-door sedan and convertible version. The entire series was based on the 1959 Ford Fairlane 500.
