This pristine rotisserie restored BOSS302 (OF02G136536) is a beauty to look at and a missile to drive. It is a show stopper, very time it comes out of the garage you will be bombarded with questions and favorable comments from young and old. One of only 8500 made, t was built on 23 November 1969 and delivered to Rio Vista Garage in Red Deer, lberta, anada. It's early years were spent Terrorizing the drag strips and road courses in Western Canada (based upon Mission Raceway decals on the car). It sat disassembled from 1992 to 1997 when it was purchased by Greg Belanger (Deceased) in Vancouver, C. He undertook a total documented restoration that was completed in 2002. The body is super straight with perfect fitting doors, ood and trunk. The car sports a premium factory code ‘D' bright competition yellow paint job. It has the optional ‘shaker' hood available only in 1970. The spoiler trunk lid with the sport slats has the BOSS ‘prop rod ‘ to assist holding it up. The underside of the rocker panels are better than when it left the factory as is the chassis. The car is shod with B.F. Goodrich TIA tires (Front 235's and rear 255's) on the Original Genuine Magnum 500 wheels. The interior (factory code BA) is absolutely perfect withnew black Rino/Corinthian Vinyl and carpets. It has a ‘Hurst' shifter and after market gauges. The hidden areas throughout have high quality workmanship. The engine compartment is immaculate. The suspension includes gas shocks, eavy front coil and rear leaf springs. A Factory Service replacement block (DIZE-6015-5) was decked, lue-printed, rank was hardened and balanced, ods balanced and shot peened, amshaft is moderately aggressive. Heads were polished, low benched with performance matched valves/springs/lifters. A 650cfm Holly carburetor, etted and flow benched provides the breathing with mandrel formed 2" stainless steel exhaust system.A 5 speed Tremec 3550 transmission is connected to a 4.11 Detroit locker rear-end. Car was dyno'd at376 HP and 300 ft-lbs. The car is registered with BOSS 302 REGISTRY an organization dedicated to preserving the history and authenticity of the breed. The VIN and the number stamped into the inner fender match.
