In 2005 a drunk driver totaled my pride and joy '68 Fastback I called "Goldie" because of the color. I kept the wreck and sold most of the parts that were salvagable. A couple of years ago a friend told me of a '68 coupe shell in near mint condition( South Texas car) and suggested I have the top removed from my old Fastback and put on this chassis. Many hours and dollars later I have my old car back. However, also have a wife now and a daughter. Priorities change and I've deceided to put "Goldie up for auction. This fastback is in near mint shape now. It has all original Ford floors, rames, quarters, enders, ood, op etc.. Only repo part is deck lid. Nothing in the chassis needed to be replaced. No rust. The roof assembly was carefully taken from the wreck with all the internal bracing and structure intact and transfered to the new chassis. It would take an expert from Ford to tell it from factory. I am selling as a roller. It has steering, rakes, inch rear, ack glass, ide windows, ear folding seat, iberglass rear seat surround, tainless door moldings. It will need the engine/trans of your choice, nterior, indshield, umpers, ent windows, oll ups, oor latches, tc.. Build this '68 Fastback your way! Steve Mcqueen Bulitt, leanor, tock or big bad Blown! No matter what you do with this car you can't go wrong. PLEASE no DEADBEATS or SCAMMERS. I've seen it all. Bid only if you intend to buy. Thank You!
