I am selling this 1929 model A sedan because I just don't have time for it anymore with all my other projects. Cars current version is the gold on top. This car is a recent build with vintage parts. The engine is a 1946 Ford Flathead with a Mercury crank, uper stock rods, orged .30 over pistons, sky 3/4 race cam, mall block Chevy valves, ffenhauser heads, ffenhauser 3 pot intake with 3 Stromberg carbs on top and lake style headers. The motor has less than 500 miles on it. I bought it from a guy that built it and never used it. Build on the engine alone was almost $10,000.1940 3 speed top loader trans. 1940 Ford truck heavy front axle with juice brakes and original split bones. 1940 Ford truck banjo rear end with drive shaft conversion. Car has 1936 Ford 16" wire wheels with new Coker black wall tires. Chopped 1928 Pontiac radiator shell. New aluminum radiator. Top is chopped and has all windows except for in the doors. Patch panels have been put in the doors and cowl to fix the rust, nbsp; The frame is a new box tube style frame. I have owned this car for a while and can never seem to have the time for it. The car has been drove around very little so needs a good shake down run. It was out enough to figure out it has enough torque to twist the drive shaft like a pretzel. A new heavier drive shaft is now installed to prevent that. You may have some small bugs to work out as with any new build that I may not have seen yet but so far seems pretty good as I have tried to fix any bugs I find. This is a rat rod so if you are looking for comfort and a good ride with luxury with fancy paint and a flawless bodythis is not the car for you this is a rat rod. The bad: It does need a helacoil in one of the spark plug holes as these old heads had weak threads on that one. This seems to be the only problem that I have found and not fixed. The title is a old title that I never put in my name and car has a body tag with matching VIN.The car hasnever been registered as it is a new build that has been lurking in the garage for years.I do have the back carb blocked off for ease of tuning and better running but would be easy to run it if you wanted to as I just put a block in the line. This would be a very expensive car to build if you tried to build one from scratch like it. My loss is your gain here. Please ask your wife, irlfriend, arents or anyone else you may need approval from before you bid. $1,000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the end of auction. CASH only on pick up.
