Description of 1928 Ford Model A

For auction is a rare and really nice 1928 Ford Model A Tudor. First year of production for the Model A. Runs and drives great. Great attention to detail! Engine casting number matches title! All gauges, ights, nd wiring work properly. Headlights are brand new and aretwo bulb, voltsystem. Everything has either been replaced or rebuilt to original condition. Solid car with no rust. I have been restoring this car since January 2014. All parts have come from a local Model A parts vendor. Everything on this car that has been touched was replaced or repaired using the best parts available. No junk or jimmied parts. All wiring and lighting system is new. New Tires and rear tire cover. Horn was rebuilt and works great. New Luggage rack. New radiator shell and stone guard. Radiator was cored and functions properly. Bumpers are originals and have been chromed by local plating shop. Motor was completely disassembled, achined, nd rebuilt. As you can see great attention to detail was used on engine, ngine bay, nd the entire car. New exhaustand hardware. Virtually everything underhood isbrand new!Undercarriage was repainted. Wood floors have been painted and restored. New exterior and interior mirrors. New original style fitted rubber floor mats. New steering wheel and horn button. New ignition switch. New window brackets, oor handles in and out. Windows allroll up and down great. Front Window has small little crack towards bottom right, hat is not very noticeable. Passenger back side glass has one little dimple. When window is up or down not noticeable. All body and fenders are straight with no major dings or dents. Paint does have some defects as it is an older repaint. Does not take away from appearance or showing at car shows. This has beenin two car shows and a local parade. Authentic LeBaron Bonney front seatinterior was chosensince that is what the car originally came with. The back seat, eadliner, nd door panels are the last thing for this car. Otherwise everything has been gone through or replaced. The transmission does rub in 2nd gear which is normal over time due to the bearings that were used. I would suggest having this serviced, ut drives fine. There are no excuses here, ust a great piece of car and Ford history. This classic car turns heads everywhere we go. Have a car that nobody else has. Not many 1928Model A's exist since this was the first production year.I have books and repair manuals that I will be including in the auction. I have more detail pictures upon request.
