1967 Ford F250 4x4 Highboy high desert western survivor one owner original paint

For sale:1967 Ford F250 Custom 4x4 high boy barn find survivor truck from the western high desert of Montana. One olderowner from new, 967 till2015, hen I acquired the truck. Purchased new at Archie Cochran Motors in Billings, T.Well maintained and properly cared for, ot mudded, ooned, r beat on, t's a nice survivor, 8 percent rust free with mostly original paint and original interior. Original manual, rochure,and warrantyplate,and original 1967 title.Factory build sheet is still nestled in the seat back. Original spare tire carrier, ack, andle and lug wrench. Just a solid, onest original truck that would beagreat candidateto do a restoration on, r use as is for casual weekend duty. 1967 Montana truck license plates will be included.

Exterior:Mostly original Springtime yellow over Wimbledon whitepaint that still holds a shine.Great for a driver but would need repaint for show. There are several areas that have been touched up, ncluding front fenders, eading edge of hood, nd upper portion of doors. When I got the truck the front fenders were both dented, ut it came with two perfectused fenders so I had them painted and put on. I added the1968 390 emblems at that time, hey are secured with double sided tape and no holes were drilled. Truck has only a few spots of minor rust, o major rot. There are a few small spots at bottom rear of cab as shown in pics. Also the truckhad auxiliaryfuel tanks in the boxat one time,and thetanks were resting on the box floor,causing that area collect moisture and rust. New panels were welded in the box floor/wheelwellsas shown in picsand the box was lined. Theholes for the filler necks to the fuel tanks remain in the box sides - about the size of a tennis ball.Hood has some dings, nd tailgate has been welded onin two areas as shown.Glass is good save for one large crack in original Carlite windshield. Overall just a good honest survivor truck.

Interior: Original in good driver condition. Seat has tears in the original material under the cover, nd a couple springs are broken on the driver side. Original floor mat in good shape with a couple small cracks. Dash has crack near speaker as shown. Everything seems to work including wipers, ignals, eater, nd original radio is working and still cranking out those AM oldies.

Mechanical:Starts, uns, nd drives out fine. Original 352 got tired at around 100k miles so original owner installed a low mileage 1970 390 at that time. Truck has 144k now and feels tight and smooth. No noticeable smoke, eaks, r unusual noises. 390 has good oil pressure and bulletproof NP435 trans shifts good. Keep in mind these old trucks were built in a different era when men were men and trucks were for working, ot going to Starbucks. No power accessories, anual everythingand low gears. Cruises comfortably at 60mph but taller tires or a Gear Vendor overdrive recommendedif you planextended highway cruising. This truck was in use for dump runs and the occasional trip to the lumber store right up till the timeI bought it, o it's sorted and ready to go.Even parking brake works!Still running the original 1967 date coded rims with 10 plyradials that have some life left but are two different brands front and rear. I've driven the truck to work and lunch a few times and to a couple of cruise night shows, ets plenty of comments and thumbs up everywhere I go.

Pricing/Misc:There was an original survivor 67 F250 4x4 in comparable condition here on Ebay a few weeks ago that bid to $9k and didn't sell. There's a restored maroon 72 up right now at $15k. My reserve is under $5000 for quick sale. Remember, his is an old vehicle, nd even though there are no known issues, tuff happens with old rigs. If you haven't fooled withvintage cars and trucksbefore, djust your expectations accordingly. Title is clear and open in the original owner's name and ready for you to sign as purchaser. I can store the truck outside for 30 days for free after the auction ends, fter that there will be storage fees of $100 per month.
