1959 Ford Thunderbird

I am offering my classic 1959 Ford Thunderbird to be sold to the highest bidder. It is a project car.

The good:
The motor and transmission run & function properly. It has a new brake master cylinder, ebuilt wheel cylinders, ith new brake shoes, nd all new brake lines. The carb has been rebuilt, he radiator flushed, he fuel tank flushed and lined. Also has a new starter solenoid. Mechanically, t's good to go.

The seats, ash, nd head liner are in great condition from a restoration several years ago. The driver's side electric seat works.
The body is straight, ost of the chrome is there and on the car. Glass is good. Head lights, amp; tail lights are good with the exception of a crack in one of the tail light lenses.

The not so good:

I was in the process of rewiring the ignition, nd that's as far as I have gotten. The ignition wiring will have to be completed before it is actually driveable again.

The car was repainted during the restoration years ago. They did a cheep and poor job. The paint has chipped and flakes in many places. So it will need a lot of love in that area sooner or later.

The car has rust on the floor panels and trunk. The frame & suspension, lthough rusty, re not yet compromised. The body has a few bubbling spots here and there, ut does not have cancer.
