This is an all original 1963 Ford Galaxie Base 4 Door.I bought this car from a friend of mine a year ago, ho inherited the car from his grandmother who had passed away. She had bought the car brand new in 1963. He acquired the car in 1997, nd at that time he had the car repainted professionally, nd redid the interior seats, ut new carpet in and a new headliner. However, he headliner was not done correctly and needs to be redone. He left the car sit in a barn from 2000 until 2014, hen I bought the car from him. Since then it has been my daily driver and is always parked in the garage. The Galaxie has seen better days body wise but it is still a solid, ependable ride. The body has a couple of dents from hail, nd two other dents on the right and left rear quarter panels where someone must have backed into the car before I owned it.There is some rust in the normal places, nder both rear quarter panels by the tires, nd the rear drivers side floor panel is rusted through. I don't see any other rust that is on the car.The engine and transmission are solid. The 352 V8 starts every time. The only thing that needs fixing on the engine is that the carb needs rebuilt/cleaned up, he engine has some dirt and grime that needs to be cleaned, nd it is leaking some oil through the rear main seal. Other than that I don't see much else that needs a whole lot of tuning up for the engine.I have all the trim that goes with the car except the pieces that cover the tail lights. The interior trim is all there, ut there are two pieces that were taken off when the headliner was done and they couldn't figure out where they went once they were finished. I do have the windshield top trim, just haven't put it on yet. The rims on the car are aftermarket, do have the original rims, xcept that they were painted with the car, nd there are no hubcaps. Please feel free to send me you questions and I will try to answer them as best I can.If you think you have a reasonable offer that I will be interested in, lease send it to me and I will consider.I am not responsible for delivery.
