Description of 1932 Ford Other |
1932 FORD Sport Coupe w/rumble seat, traditional example of an early 60's Hot Rod. I purchased this car a few years ago out of Maryland from the original builder, t had been sitting in his garage for awhile so when I received it I went through it to made it road worthy. Original steel body in nice shape for being over 80 years old, original 32 frame (model A front cross member), riginal steering box (rebuilt with 15:1), 951 Merc Flathead V8 (Edelbrock intake, ual 97's, electronic ign, eaders), 939 Ford transmission, 940 Ford front wheels 16 x 4 (powder coated with new Firestone bias ply) and 1940 Lincoln rear wheels 16 x 5 (powder coated with new Firestone bias ply), ydraulic brakes rebuilt and new Lincoln front drums. All gauges (fuel, olts, il pressure and dual temperature, ne for each cyl head), ights, orn, -brake etc are in working order. It's been reliable, ependable and trouble free for the 1800 miles driven over the summer. The car is located in Vancouver, anada (I am only 15 minutes from the US border) and if you come get the car yourself you don't require a broker...its considered a casual entry and the US customs officer will fill out the paper work free of charge. This paper work shows you have legally imported the vehicle into the US as it may be required when you license the vehicle in your state. If purchaser would prefer to have vehicle shipped I will work with both parties to make a smooth transaction. I have purchased and sold a number of vehicles to and from the US over the years and have had smooth transactions. I can store the car for awhile if this helps the purchaser with vehicle paid in full. Please note: this car drives, tops and handles better than it ever did in 1932 but do not expect it to perform like today's new cars. The original builder and myself have built this car to 1960's Hot Rod standards (or better) trying to keep it as period correct as possible. And yes it does leak some oil.
