Description of 1967 Ford Ranchero |
This 1967 Ford Fairlane Ranchero is a California car as you can probably tell by the photos. The Ranchero was also a one owner car until a few years ago when it came to New England. This is one of those rare antique vehicles that has always been a nice car and well cared for. It does not have any rust and appears that it never has had any. It is as neat underneath as it is on top. It has traveled a little over 14,000 miles since its "renewal process" began and it is as straight and rust free as they come. As the photos show, ll of the modifications done to the car over time are modest in nature and reflect the simple but demanding taste of its original owner. I have made performance modifications during my ownership and it loves to run and will keep up with the "big boys" . The rear end is the factory 9" limited slip differential with 4.11 gears. To summarize, ll of the following have been completed: Complete renewal of the front suspension Heavy duty front and rear sway bars New brakes all around New shocks all around Authentic GT chrome wheels and caps New Cobra GT raised white letter radial tires New exhaust with "Turbo" mufflers (throaty but respectful) New Powder Coated Holley headers Transmission (C4) recentlyoverhauled Engine overhaul (perfect compression!) with tons of power (289 high performance) Performance "street" cam New digital distributor, atching high output remote coil, .5mm plug wires New Holley 750 CFM "double pumper" carburetor Exterior repaint in original color (BEAUTIFUL PAINT JOB) New windshield shaded and tinted New tonneau cover Quality spray in bed liner Halogen headlight conversion 8 way power seats (driver and passenger) Unique and custom wood grained dashboard and center console (the only one I have ever seen) with all original controls, ighted switches, torage everywhere, lide out cup holders, oltmeter, il pressure, ater temp, uel gages & tachometer. AM/FM/CD player This Ranchero is not a rebuilt restoration; it has always been a good car and very well cared for. It has simply been upgraded and perfected. I have seen no signs of rust repair anywhere and, f course, here is no rust now. It is a one of a kind 1967 Ranchero that you would be proud to own and show and it is a blast to drive. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I will answer you honestly as my feedback indicates. An unexpected family situation forces me to sell this car and my vintage Mercedes 500SL. It's a sad day in my house but you can rest assured that this car will bring you as much joy and pride of ownership as it has me and no repairs left to do! As with all vintage car sales, t is being sold as-is, here-is (I hate to say that as it degrades the image of the car) without a warranty of any kind. I will be happy to work with your transporter's logistics to assure an easy transition from me to you. The title is in hand along with a ton of paperwork including the owner's manual and service manual and spare keys. I am requesting a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the auction end and payment in full within 7 days from the auction end. Payment in full must be made via bank check, ire transfer or cash. PayPal will not be accepted except for the $500 deposit. Road tests are welcomed by appointment only please. The car is being advertised locally so any sale will end this auction. |
