Description of 1968 Ford Bronco |
So here's the story... In 1968 Prince Phillip(Prince Charles' Father) and his entourage came to beautiful Big Horn, Wyoming to hunt birds. The local Ford dealership donated several trucks and this beautiful bronco that the Prince personally drove. After their stay, it was sold to a local accountant who passed away many years ago. Unfortunately, prior to his passing he was ill so it was put away in 2003 where is has sat in a storage until about 2 months ago. We carefully hauled it to our shop where we left everything untouched but we did go through some of the mechanicals to get it running and driving. I have been so torn weather to wash her up or leave her a barn find... the conclusion is obvious! A Barn find it is. The original owners shared some facts...-The hard top has never been off as he was very particular and never want it to leake.-The paint is all original and looks to be in exception shape.-It come's with every service record since they bought it and the original sales contract and a lot of the gas receipts as well...did I mention he was an accountant?-The gun rack was only used to haul a few golf clubs! lol-The truck is exactly as found, nothing was touched except for the engine bay. This truck is super clean. It has two very small spots of rust on the inner fenders under the hood, but other than that, the floor pans, rockers and everything else is solid including the frame and whole undercarriage. The driver seat does have some tears in it but the passenger seat is good, along with the back seat. This truck belongs with someone that will treat it right and take good care of it. I promised the woman that sold it to me that I would not cut it up and make it a toy; so that being said I know I can't control it but I would like to pass her wishes on to the new owner. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call or shoot me an email. 307.752.6033 All I ask is that you be courteous of my auction and only bid if you are qualified and have the money to buy.
